bring your coats.

We recently met up with the Mosleys for their annual fall session.
It was cold.
No other way to say it.
"Bring your coats,"  I told Yashica.
They were taking them on and off throughout the shoot.
Michael wasn't going to come out of his coat-cacoon until absolutely necessary...

Despite the November chill, their pictures turned out beautifully...
because they are beautiful.

Fifth Grade Reading List.
I've been reading these books with students for years and years.
They are like old friends who make me laugh and cry and think.

fun and romance.

 Fun and romance.
That's what Tasha and Malik wanted their engagement pictures to reflect.
That was an easy assignment, actually.
They are full of both.
Tasha's daughter Jasmine joined in
to make for a wonderful morning capturing the love this soon to be family shares.

Awww....love this...

I love these images that John caught.
Fun and romance indeed.

Blessings to Tasha, Malik, and Jasmine in the days ahead!

l-o-v-e.

Luke and Noah are such cute little boys and want to share some love.
Well, okay, Noah needed a little help holding his letters,
but that's only because it was so COLD outside!
Despite the early morning chill, we caught some cute pictures of the boys running and playing.
I love this picture of Luke, who is turning four...

Just in case you couldn't tell what color the sucker was...
 so cute...

moore cousins.

There's nothing like playing with cousins.
hugging.
chasing.
giggling.
kissing.
snuggling.
pretending.
running.
memory making
cousins.

We took pictures of these cute kiddos last fall for Grandma.
It's so much fun to see how they've grown.
I think they've only gotten cuter...
if that's even possible!

Gotta share one more of smilin' Miles...

The zip line was so much fun...you can almost hear them laughing and squealing!
Miles was actually singing a little song while he zipped along.

Cousins are those childhood playmates who grow up to be forever friends.

praying kaden home.

Oh how we prayed for this precious little boy.
His mommy and daddy had longed for children for years.
And after many twists and turns in their journey,
Joel and Kristie brought Kaden home from the Congo earlier this year.
He is absolutely perfect.
All boy.
And full of joy.

We all are full of joy for the Craigs and LOVED capturing some pictures for them.

"Some first graders were discussing a picture of a family.
One little boy in the picture had a different hair color than the other members.
One of her students suggested that he was adopted.
A little girl said, 'I know all about adoption, I was adopted.'
'What does it mean to be adopted?', asked another child.
'It means', said the girl,
'that you grew in your mommy's heart instead of her tummy!'"
