last shall be first.

This was the last picture of the day.
But I'm sharing it first.
Because Caroline is so cute
and by the end of the session,
she decided to become quite the model!

I met the Engle family at 7:30 am when all the dog walkers were out at Ewing Park.
There's quite a canine community there,
so oftentimes the pups are unleashed
and get ahead of their owners
and find open diaper bags
and mistake the bags
for a fire hydrant
or tree.
Do I need to spell it out?
Let's just say,
I will always keep my camera bag zipped
at 7:30 am
in Ewing Park.
Let me also say that Erin Engle is very gracious when unleashed pups
mistake her diaper bag
for a fire hydrant
or tree.

As always, it's a pleasure taking pictures for this family....

Precious Sisters.
Watch for July's Project 365 post.
You'll see another lovely image of Anneka and Caroline.

spectacular, unforgettable, kingdom exhibition.

There is an infinite depth of beauty to be discovered and known,
regardless of our inability to ever fully grasp it.
Illuminated by the Creator who calls us into childlike wonder of the marvels of creation;
who, in complete love and wisdom,
anticipates the reciprocal adoration of His children;
He, Himself the continuous, self-sustaining exhale from whom all life breathes and owes itself to - He will be adored.
I will adore Him.
He is Beauty.

Katlyn Elizabeth Durham

For her final project as an undergraduate student,
Katlyn hosted an art exhibition last weekend.
Oils, watercolors, sketches, photography, poetry all gathered to reflect the beauty of the Creator.

There was quite a gathering of friends, family, art-goers,
and people off the street flagged down by K's adorable sisters...

Kentucky girls sans sandals.

 Now there's some fine art!!

Congratulations on a great show, Katlyn!
We're proud of you.

levine family.

Every few months or so, we catch up with the Levine family.
We met again last week at McGraw Park.
The fountain was spraying and the weather was perfect.
Their colorful clothing choices were so fresh and summery.
Henry and Lucy brought their smiles and personalities.
The result?
Some pretty sweet pics of a pretty sweet family.

See ya later!
