sarah.

Sarah:  Cornerstone Senior.
Her mom is a teacher-friend of mine.
She was one of Mr. Gilroy's students.
In the OTHER fifth grade.
She's been walking the same hallways I do for years.
But Sarah and I have never spent a lot of time together.
Her senior picture session changed that.
I'm so glad.
She is a delight!

Lovely Sarah in lovely light.

Beautiful eyes.
Mischievious smile.
Easy to be with.
Going places.

david.

It's homecoming week at BHS, where David is a senior.
He was selected to be on the homecoming court.
It's easy to see why.
He's pretty handsome and was fun to be with.
We wandered around downtown Bloomington for his session,
and even though we got chased off one of my favorite rooftop locations,
we caught some great images.
Enjoy this sneak peek of his senioir pictures.

three, three and under.

If I heard her right, Amanda told me this was the first time
they'd had family pictures taken since twins Max and Jorie were born.
They're a year and a half old now, and big brother Jude is three.
Needless to say, this session included some tears and coaxing...
but there were also sweet smiles and giggles.
I loved their choice of outfits and the crisp fall air.
When we finished, John and I grabbed some hot cider while the VanAllens went home for naps!

ruby.

 Look who's three!
Ruby has one of the most expressive faces and engaging personalities ever.
My camera and I love entering into her little world as she tells me a story or sings me a song.
I always offer to take her and Charley home.
Maybe someday Mommy and Daddy will take me up on the offer!

shifflett family.

In a few short weeks, Jordan will be leaving to serve in the military.
I don't know how any mom gets her heart ready...
Stephanie wanted to make sure they had some family pictures before he left.
I hope they will also serve to remind Jordan how loved he is when he is far from home.

We're so thankful the Shiffletts have been a part of our lives for many years
and will be thinking of them in coming days.
We send you with our prayers, Jordan!

alexis.

I used to be a wedding singer.
In fact, John and I sang for her parents' wedding twenty years ago.
Time flies.
Certainly we don't look any older.

Never mind how we look.
Take a peek at some of Alexis' senior pictures.
I don't think I need to mention how stunning she is.
That much is clear!
