blessed to be a blessing.

Tyler.  Jess.  Griffin.  Drake. Tyson.
They love Jesus.
They love people around the world.
They love each other.
And they think I'm funny.
(well, at least Drake does, who couldn't stop laughing at my antics)
I love taking their pictures.

They are blessed.
And they are a blessing.

anson fam.

First thing I said to the the Anson boys when we met for pictures.
"I love your red chucks."
I mean, I really love them!!
I usually am not a fan of black and white images with "selective color,"
but this photo of their feet seem to beg for it.
So there you have it.
Red chucks.  Black and white image.  I'm a fan.

As for the rest of the session...fun images of a great family.
And time at the playground.
Perfect!

rain, rain, stay away.

We watch the weekend radar like hawks at our house.
Our window of opportunity for fall sessions is limited,
so the weather must cooperate.
The rain held off just long enough to catch some family pics for the Muellers.
Jeff and Lisa's little guy, Owen, must have known our time was short,
because he was the perfect little model!
I love, love, love his little cap
and sweet smiles.
Lisa's family sneaked into a few pictures.
And then it downpoured.
The end.

josh {class of 2013}

I've watched Josh grow up.
We don't see each other much anymore, so it was great fun to connect for his senior pictures.
As I edited these images, I said several times to my husband,
"Josh is REALLY handsome."
Take a look for yourself!

I love this last image of Josh taken by my husband.
Enjoy your senior year, Josh and may God bless your future!

We also sneaked in a few family shots of Josh's family.
Here's a peek...

checklist.

1.  Mosley Family.

This is the fourth fall we've taken pictures for the Mosleys.
This year, Yashica brought a checklist.
This is not a bad idea.
In life, I'm fairly organized.
As a photographer...
well...
I get caught in the moment and sometimes miss a shot that a family wanted.
So a checklist of desired pictures is a really good idea.
If you can keep track of the checklist.
Which we didn't always.
So, if we missed some shots...
I'm blaming it on the list...

List or no list,
they make taking family pictures easy.

2.  Individual shots of each kid.
 3.  Mom and Dad.
 4.  Mom with Michael.
5.  Dad with Michael.
6.  Dad with girls.
7.  Mom with girls.
 8.  Kids.
 9.  Dad with kids.
10.  Mom with kids.
11.  I know there was a number eleven, but I don't know what it is.
So here are some pictures.

Aerial shot.
For fun.
Check.

favorite things, part two.

These are a few of her favorite things...
Sitting at Starbucks
wading in water,
reading and dreaming,
blowing bubbles,
and eating Skittles by the handful.

Kaylee delights in the small things and takes joy in the beauty of creation.
Her list of favorites is long because she takes time to notice the world around her.
So we will be taking more pictures in the future.
Sigh.
Someone's gotta do it!

walk to remember.

 I must confess,
I get a little giddy whenever we meet wth the Moores.
Ruby and Charley are not only adorable...they are a delight.
And I think they like me.

I won't soon forget our recent walk around downtown Bloomington
complete with wiggles and giggles,
dancing,
sister secrets,
funny faces,
and lots of hugs and smooches.

That's a wrap.
Now...let's play some "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, FREEZE!"
(Thanks to my husband for his amazing ability to catch sneaky shots when least expected!)
