regarding henry.

Regarding Henry:  p e r f e c t I o n.
I am absolutely captivated by this little guy.
I love the little wrinkles on his back, his sweet little lips, and laid back personality.
I think his sisters like him too!
Take a peek.

All is well with the world.

kalmes family.

We recently spent time with the Kalmes family at Funks Grove on a nearly perfect evening.
The weather was great. The light was lovely. And this family is wonderful!

One of these kids was in my fifth grade class this past year.
Hint:  It wasn't the cutie with the long blond curls!

borne boys.

Here's a quick peek into my recent session with these three little guys.
The next time I take their pictures, it won't be "Borne Boys."
It'll be "Borne Boys and Baby Sister!"
So exciting to watch this family grow!

I had to post this picture.
I love it so much.
He seriously did not want his picture taken just then.

patterson family.

Dirt, paint, bugs...we encountered them all on the trail.
We also had lots of laughs with these little guys!

Thanks so much, Patterson family.
It was great getting to know you!

uptown girls.

Rachel and Natalie will be four next month.
They sure know their way around Uptown Normal...
from the Garlic Press,
to the big murals,
to the fountain.
They are so adorable and full of personality!
They are also the best peek-a-boo players on the planet.
Not. Even. Kidding.
I wish we had taken video.
I was laughing so hard, it's a miracle my hand stayed steady enough for pictures.

Fearless.
{The girls, I mean.}

dimples and diamonds.

 "She has dimples."
That was one of the very first things I said when I gave birth to this girl.
Those dimples are extra prominent these days.
Perhaps because she was just asked an important question
that included a diamond.
We are beyond thrilled for these two as they prepare to spend their lives together.

The Madison Arboretum is absolutely beautiful.
And so are these two.
