chloe {class of 2019}.

You read the title right...class of 2019!
Chloe was in my fifth grade class last year.
So, I can tell you with confidence
that she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
And, um, about that outer beauty...
I can also tell you with confidence
that I was nowhere near this stunning when I was in sixth grade.
Ridiculous.
 Smoochin' Cookie.
And in honor of the final days of summer...we had to have a little treat...

 Let the fun begin....
I'll miss you, Chloe :(
but I know you'll have a great year!!

corey {class of 2013}.

We were going to meet Corey earlier in August,
but got interrupted by one of the few rainstorms of the summer.
Oh well.
I am so glad we rescheduled because we met on a nearly perfect late summer evening just before school started.

He is as charming as he looks.
Enjoy this sneak peek!

 Oh yeah...
we weren't going to tell his mom about the climbing on the railing
right after shoulder surgery thing....

stella and friends.

Oh, how I wish this were an original idea.
It came from that great ocean of inspiration.... Pinterest, of course.
Ah Pinterest...spurring on creative juices
and sometimes making me feel a bit inadequate.
But...
(not to be confused with "butt")
what is original
is Miss Stella.
She is a one of a kind masterpiece.
I always say that no matter the pose or setting,
it is the beauty of each person that makes an image special.
Stella does her part.
For sure.

a few of her favorite things, part one.

Kaylee's mom and I were chatting about her upcoming senior pictures.
"You know what one of her favorite things is?" she asked.
I always want to know.
"Kaylee loves sitting at Starbucks with her Bible and journal."
 My kind of girl.

So, we kinda stalked her
while she journaled and sat by the window where she always does.

Stay tuned.
Kaylee has more favorite things.
And she's becoming one of my favorites!

kylie {class of 2013}.

Her smile can light up any room!
Kylie has grown up romping the grounds of One Normal Plaza.
So it seemed fitting to have her senior pictures done there.
It was a plesure to meet her to capture this special time in her life.

Enjoy your senior year, Kylie...and this little sneak peek!

And hey, why not end the session with a little hopscotch?

jason {class of 2013}.

We had a lot of fun tromping around town with Jason for his senior session
and later stopping by a nearby baseball field for some shots.
Nothing better than catching a smile "in between" shots!

Best wishes for a great senior year
and a promising future!

smell the roses.

The Johnsons recently braved the heat for some new family pictures.
We met on the trail, which like most of our area of the country has been baked by the summer sun. The grass in our area is a lovely shade of, um, brown.
It amazes me that there are blooms anywhere in our town.
But the knock out roses never fail.
They are beautiful.
As is this family.
You'd never know summer's heat was having its way.

 Take time to smell them.
It'll make your day!

double time.

We took their pictures a year ago before they were walking.
Now  they're off and running!
And we were off and chasing.
And giggling.
And, okay, sweating.
(it was one of those warm mornings we've enjoyed so much this summer)
Cute as can be...licking their first lollipops...
Two year old twins...Rachel and Natalie.

go team.

 Team Moore.
That's how they are known.
I'm so thankful for this dear family and the impact they have on others.
Whether in the cornfields of central Illinois, or in their new stomping grounds of  Las Vegas,
the words As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD
do not need to be inscribed on a plaque in their home.
They just live it.

Anyhow...what a treat to catch up with Layne and Drew
and chase their fabulous four
(okay...only had to chase three of them).
We will miss them greatly,
but are pretty sure, in their case, what happens in Vegas won't stay in Vegas.
Can't wait to hear how God uses Team Moore.
Love you guys!!
