Beware: I'm feeling sappy.
I have known and loved the Larsens for over two decades. To start listing the memories speed dialing their way through my heart right now would be impossible. So, as I viewed the pictures from Sean's graduation open house, my eyes welled up. My eyes well up easily (and frequently), but celebrating Sean's success was extra sweet.
Sweet, because Sean is an amazing kid. He has finished high school well. He is a successful student and athlete, a leader and servant. I am not exaggerating when I say that anyone who meets him, loves him.
But this celebration is sweet because, after a long year of cancer treatment, his dad is here to embrace Sean at the end of this part of the race. We love you Jim, and we thank God for you.
I'm feeling sappy. Oh well.
